Friday 2/3/2012 7:00 AMThe Labyrinth is open every day and night for meditative walks (our new landscape lighting is wonderful). All Are Welcome! The Labyrinth at St. John's Chapel UCC is only the second in Springfield, and is an expansive 30-feet wide. Printed suggestions on walking our Labyrinth are available at the Labyrinth's entrance, located at the base of the Bell Tower. Go to the back of the Bell Tower to begin your walk. Classes on "Walking the Labyrinth" are being formed and we invite you to call 417-881-5175 to learn more about our Labyrinth.
Friday 2/3/2012 8:00 AMThe UCC was in Haiti before, is there now, and will be there for many, many years to come. They are also working in Japan, and here in The United States. Recovery is slow, look at Joplin for example. They are still rebuilding. Please give whatever you monetarily can to alleviate the suffering of the people of Haiti and other victims of natural disasters both here and abroad. Go to www.ucc.org, or give on Sundays by noting that your check is for the Haitian Relief Effort or for Japan or Joplin. Thank you.
